THE ROUTE OF THE 3 HILLSbook-this-tour

Hike along the least known viewpoints in Barcelona and learn about the city’s history and geography

This route combines urban and country environments, walking along three iconic hills in Barcelona: Creueta del Coll, Carmel and La Rovira. Three hills of the Catalan capital, located in the middle of the city, offering spectacular views and an eloquent visual overview of the city’s history.

During this tour, we will hike to Turó de la Creueta (245m above sea-level), a hill that looks like an old volcano because this mountain was used as a quarry for many years. Then we will walk to Carmel (266m above sea-level), also known as the “bald” mountain. And finally we will reach Turó de la Rovira (262m above sea-level), from where we will enjoy a 360º view of the city, a perfect vantage point from which to look out over the development and progress that has taken place on the plain of Barcelona.
