A guided tour to discover the last 30 years of Barcelona’s architectural and urban development

In Barcelona, architecture is much more than Gaudí. Architects from around the world flock to the city to visit its more modern architecture. Entire neighbourhoods in Barcelona offer examples of post-modern architecture, such as the Olympic Village, which was built on a disused industrial site in Poblenou beside the sea.

This guided tour will allow you to discover Barcelona’s unique contemporary architecture, including such outstanding buildings as the Agbar Tower, by Jean Nouvel; the MACBA by Norman Foster; L’Auditori, by Rafael Moneo; the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya (TNC), by Ricard Bofill; the Bac de Roda Bridge, by Santiago Calatrava and the Olympic Ring on Montjuïc, among many other buildings.

  • This tour includes the private transport (maximum of 30 people)
  • Optional: For the full-day Contemporary Architecture Tour, we can have lunch “in the heights”
