Enjoy a beautiful getaway to the Capcir region (known as the Catalan Siberia) in French Catalonia, combining a pleasant walk along the shore of Lake Matemale (wide, flat, and shaded path), an easy and very enjoyable walk (1 hour) along the shore of Lake Puyvalador, and a guided tour of Puigcerdà and its beautiful lake. Lunch will be on your own in Puigcerdà (with the option to eat together at a restaurant).

Excursion Overview:

1- Stop for breakfast during the journey

2- A 1-hour walk on a very beautiful, easy, and flat path along the shore of Lake Puyvalador

3- A very easy and pleasant walk along the shore of Lake Matemale

4- Free time for lunch in Puigcerdà (with the option to eat together) and to enjoy its beautiful lake

THE PLAN

– 8:00 AM: We meet at Plaça Universitat (at the main entrance of the University of Barcelona) to take our private coach. We will stop for breakfast during the trip.
– 11:00-12:30 PM: A beautiful walk along the shore of Lake Puyvalador, with the best views of the region.
– 12:45-2:00 PM: A very pleasant walk along the shore of Lake Matemale.
– 2:30-5:00 PM: Free time for lunch in Puigcerdà and a walk around the lake.

– 5:00 PM: Return coach, arriving in Barcelona around 7:30 PM.

Languages: Spanish and Catalan (if you need additional explanations in English, there is no problem).
