An excursion to Alta Cerdanya and the Capcir region, in French Catalonia, which combines an easy and pleasant walk along the shore of Lake Matemale (wide and flat path) and a guided visit to the town of Mont-Louis (Montlluís). , whose fortification is part of the UNESCO world heritage. We are going to have breakfast in Llívia, a Spanish enclave in French territory, and we will have the opportunity to visit Real, a small rural town located on the shore of Lake Puyvalador, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy the best views of the region, which at this time of year it may be snowy

1- Breakfast in Llívia, a Spanish enclave in French territory, and a brief historical introduction.
2- Walk along the shore of Lake Matemale (1.5 hours on a totally flat road)
3- Visit to the small town of Real, which stands on the Puyvalador lake. Here we can enjoy the best views of the region.
4- Free time for lunch in the fortified village of Mont-Louis and guided tour
THE PLAN
– 7.30h: We meet at Plaça Universitat (at the main entrance of the University of Barcelona) to catch our private bus.
– 10-11h: Breakfast in Llívia and brief historical introduction
– 11.30-14h: Walk along the shore of Lake Matemale and stop in the small town of Real to contemplate the best views of the region and Lake Puyvalador
– 14-16h: Free time for lunch in Mont-Louis
– 16-17h: Guided tour in Mont-louis
– 17h: Return bus, arriving in Barcelona around 8:00 p.m.
