CLIMB TO TURÓ DE L’HOME -the highest mountain in Montseny- and NICE CIRCULAR WALK THROUGH THE SANTA FE RESERVOIR (MAXIMUM 20 PEOPLE)
Santa Fe is one of the most beautiful (and crowded) places in the Montseny Natural Park and the beginning of many walks. One of them is the ascent to Turó de l’Home (1,712 metres), the highest mountain in Montseny, passing through spectacular beech forests and the southernmost quill in Europe. In Santa Fe we can also enjoy the impressive Californian redwoods and the Santa Fe swamp, which acts as a mirror of the splendid landscape.
A complete and affordable walk through one of the most beautiful corners of Catalonia (especially in autumn) and that will allow us to enjoy spectacular views (the Turó de l’Home offers a magnificent panoramic view) and beautiful beech and chestnut forests.
It is a very pleasant excursion without too much difficulty (the total distance traveled is 5 km up and another 5 km down with a cumulative drop of about 500 meters), but it is essential to have a minimum of physical condition.
THE PLAN
8h: Departure by coach -maximum 25 people in a 40-seater coach- from Plaza Catalunya (Hard Rock Cafe)

– Accumulated elevation gain: 500m.

IMPORTANT: although the walk is quite easy, it is essential to have a minimum of physical condition. And due to the exceptional circumstances that we are experiencing generated by Covid19, to do the walk we will divide into small groups to keep our distance and avoid grouping together.
We are going to have a picnic at Turó de l’Home, so you have to bring food and drinks from home.
