Hiking on the Costa Brava: the route of the 12 coves of Lloret de Mar

Enjoy a beautiful walk along the southernmost Costa Brava, from Santa Cristina to Cala Canyelles, with a guided tour in Lloret de Mar and a stop at Cala Banys, the coolest bar-terrace on the Costa Brava.

Summer is approaching and at Enjoy Catalonia around this time we always organize a beautiful walk along the southernmost Costa Brava visiting small coves and beaches with crystal clear and turquoise blue waters from Blanes, the gateway to the Costa Brava, to the semi-virgin Cala Canyelles , the last beach in Lloret before Tossa de Mar.

During the journey we will enjoy some of the most beautiful coves and beaches in the area, which despite the many buildings, still preserves very beautiful places: Platja del Treumal, Santa Cristina, Sa Boadella, Fenals, Cala Banys, Sa Caleta …

The walk will be divided into two parts.

1- Morning:

We are going to walk from the beautiful Cala de Santa Cristina to Lloret de Mar. Before arriving in Lloret, we will stop for a while in Cala Banys, a magical corner with one of the coolest terrace-bars on the Costa Brava. We eat for free in the old town of Lloret de Mar

2- Afternoon:

After eating for free in Lloret de Mar, we will resume our march towards Canyellas beach, the northernmost of Lloret’s beaches and where we will have free time to have a drink at the beach bar, swim or enjoy the beauty of the landscape.

Throughout the day, we will go through the following beaches, coves and coves: Santa Cristina, Sa Boadella, Fenals, Cala Banys, Playa de Lloret, Sa Caleta, Cala dels Frares, Caleta Safareig d’en Sitre, Cala d’ in Trams, Cala de Sa Tortuga, Sa Cala Gran, Platja de Canyelles.

THE PLAN
– 8.30h: We meet at Plaça Universitat (main entrance of the university) to catch our private bus
– 10-11h: Arrival and brief breakfast/coffee in Cala de Santa Cristina, where the brave can enjoy the first swim of the season.
– 11-12.30h: Walk along the coastal path to Cala Banys, where we will stop to refresh ourselves on its spectacular terrace.
– 13.30-14h: Hike to Caleta de Lloret de Mar
– 14-16h: Free time to eat and walk through the old town of Lloret
– 16-17.30h: Walk to the beach of Canyelles
– 17.30-18.30h: Free time to have a drink or enjoy the beach
– 18.30h: Return bus, arriving in Barcelona around 8:00 p.m.

Languages: Spanish and Catalan (if someone needs additional explanations in English there is no problem)
