Guided tour in Camprodon
Located in the heart of the Pyrenees, Camprodon, with its imposing mountains and beautiful forests, is one of the most beautiful villages in Catalonia. Getting lost in its magnificent old town, crossing its beautiful Old Bridge, strolling along the impressive Passeig Maristany (with grandiose chestnut trees and old dream mansions), shopping in the busy shopping street Valencia, or getting lost in the surroundings of the village is always a pleasure.
Hiking to Sant Antoni or a gentle stroll to the golf club:
1- Climb to the hermitage of Sant Antoni, located at 1345 meters high and with a spectacular 360º panoramic view of the Camprodon Valley. The climb up to the hermitage runs along a very wide path, but has a considerable slope of 400 meters and, consequently, a minimum of physical condition is required.
2- Walk to the golf course – a very easy and pleasant walk without any technical difficulty – and have more free time to enjoy Camprodon.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE CLIMB TO SANT ANTONI (optional):
– Level: Easy to medium (very wide path but considerable slope).
– Total distance: 7-8 km approx.
– Accumulated difference in altitude: 405 meters
– Duration: 3-4 hours approx.
IMPORTANT: Do not forget to bring good walking shoes, sunglasses, a good jacket and a raincoat just in case. . If the weather forecast is bad the excursion will be postponed.
