EXCLUSIVE GUIDED TOUR OF THE FABRA OBSERVATORY AND TIBIDABO

For over ten years, Enjoy Catalonia has organized exclusive tours of the Fabra Observatory with Alfons Puertas, scientist, meteorologist, and person in charge of exclusive group visits.

During the visit (2 hours), Alfons, the meteorologist and head of the center, will reveal the history of the observatory and explain how all the active sections work: astronomy, meteorology, and seismology. We will also visit the modernist room, the museum, the dome, the library, and the operation of the two century-old telescopes. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to go up to the terrace, from where we can enjoy one of the best views of Barcelona.

The Fabra Observatory (415 meters above sea level) is one of the oldest astronomical observatories in Europe. It was inaugurated in 1904 and belongs to the Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona.

This is a daytime guided tour, so we will visit the facilities with a scientist from the observatory, but we will not be looking through the telescope!!!
