DATE: March 19 at 8:30 a.m.
Between February and March, given the right circumstances, the Tarragona region of Ribera d’Ebre is dyed white and pink. Almond, peach and then cherry trees turn the landscape into a unique spectacle worth contemplating. And if we add to this the majestic Ebro river and Miravet, one of the most beautiful towns in Catalonia, the combination is already irresistible.
A complete excursion that includes a guided tour of Miravet, one of the most beautiful and picturesque towns in Catalonia; a guided walk through the Iberian settlement of Castellet de Banyoles, which is also one of the best viewpoints in the region; and a pleasant walk to enjoy the blossoming almond trees of Benissanet, in the Ribera d’Ebre.
The two walks are easy level, along a wide path and without unevenness. In Castellet de Banyoles we walk 4km (round trip) and in Benissanet 2km (round trip).
