Whether cycling or just walking, the Carretera de les Aigües is the ideal way to enjoy a nice walk overlooking Barcelona. With its almost 10 kilometers long and a maximum elevation of 450 meters, it is one of the most popular trails among Barcelona’s cycling and walking lovers. From Sant Pere Màrtir to the Rabassada road, the viewpoint on the Barcelona side of Collserola becomes a perfect walk. Through a simple walk with few slopes, the views over the city are wide and unbeatable.
At the top of Pedralbes is the small neighborhood of La Mercè, formed by a hundred white and cheap houses built in the forties in the most exclusive area of the city.
An enjoyable guided tour that includes a 7km walk along the Carretera de les Aigües to the Xiprers viewpoint and a guided visit to the curious neighborhood of La Mercè, a redoubt of “cheap houses” built in the most exclusive area of the city.
