A half-day excursion to the Montserrat Monastery offers a glimpse into the daily life of Benedictine monks, the history of the monastery, an exploration of art history, and stunning scenery. The visit, which includes entrance to the basilica and the art museum , also provides insights into essential aspects of monastic life and the important role monasteries have played throughout history.

It is possible to complete the excursion to the Montserrat monastery with a visit to the Cave of Saint Ignatius in Manresa.

  • Departure by coach from the school. Breakfast at the monastery bar.
  • Guided tour of the exterior of the monastic complex.
  • Visit to the interior of the basilica and the interpretation center.
  • Guided tour of the Montserrat Museum.
  • Return coach.

Option: complete the excursion with a visit to the Cave of San Ignacio in Manresa.
