A historical tour through the center of Barcelona that allows us to question the causes of the war, discover scenarios where important events took place, get closer to the daily life of the city or learn about the tragic fate of some of the main protagonists.

A panoramic tour of Modernist Barcelona: Passeig de Gràcia and its famous “Block of Discord,” Park Güell, and the Sagrada Familia. The Siege of Barcelona of 1713-1714 was one of the largest military operations of the War of the Spanish Succession. This historical tour takes you through some of the main battlegrounds in Barcelona, ​​allowing you to discover the causes and consequences of the conflict, as well as the roles played by some of its key figures. This tour can be combined with a guided visit to the Born district .

Corbera d'Ebre and the Battle of the Ebro

A day trip to the Terra Alta and Ribera d’Ebre regions to visit some of the most significant sites of the Battle of the Ebro, the bloodiest and longest battle of the Spanish Civil War. We visit the old town of Corbera d’Ebre, preserved in the same state of ruin to which it was reduced, and compare it to Belchite, an Aragonese town that suffered the same fate. We also visit Miravet, which was a battleground.
A half-day excursion to the Colonia Güell, including a visit to the crypt designed by Gaudí. The visit offers insight into the workings, typologies, and evolution of the industrial colonies that proliferated in Catalonia during the 19th century: long working hours, workers’ demands, housing, leisure, religiosity, anarchism, the industrial bourgeoisie, conflict, coal, rivers, the textile and mining industries, and more.
A day trip to French Catalonia to visit the Swiss Maternity Hospital of Elna and Collioure. This themed route follows the paths of exile, allowing us to explore the tragic history of refugees from the Spanish Civil War, embodied in the figure of Machado, and discover the fascinating story of Elizabeth Eidenbenz and her Maternity Hospital, a haven of humanity and hope amidst so much horror.

The Cathar Route: Berga and Bagà

A day trip to the Berguedà region to explore the fascinating world of Catharism. Throughout the day, we’ll visit Berga and Bagà and discover some of the most important aspects of the “Good Men,” as well as the reasons for their tragic end. The excursion includes a visit to the Medieval World Interpretation Centre in Bagà.
A half-day excursion to the Montserrat Monastery will allow us to delve into its complex history and learn about the daily lives of the Benedictine monks who live there. The visit will also reveal essential aspects of monastic life and the important role they have played throughout history.

Sant Cugat and its monastery

A panoramic tour of old Sant Cugat (the modernist winery, the main street, Can Cabanes, the old market…) and a guided visit to its impressive monastery, built between the 9th and 14th centuries, and one of the greatest examples of medieval art in Catalonia. The visit can be combined with an excursion to the Pi d’en Xandri , an environmental symbol.
